Long Time a Resident of Vancouver Island, B.C., Canada, Keith is a Scottish Born Artist who spent most of his childhood in Africa and then attended boarding school back in Britain for his teen years and later moved to Canada where he now resides with his Canadian wife Sue Tupper.
We are very fortunate to have Keith Shirlau as a member of the art & music scene here on Vancouver Island. He is an incredible musician, a wizard on any kind of percussion instrument. Keiths' drawings, carvings and digital art are a real BLAST out of ordinary time & sensibility.
After a wildly varied childhood landscape and adult life, Keith has an extraordinary sense of humour and humanity. He is a rarity in this world and those of us who know him are truly awed and grateful for his friendship, his music and his art.
